We all know that to experience success with your writing that you actually have to write.
Not only do you have to write, but you also have to get some eyes on your stuff as well, some readers, lest it remains gathering dust, trapped for all eternity in your drafts list or hidden away on a poorly promoted online profile.
Now, the above information is probably familiar to most of you reading this. It’s the kind of advice you seek out at the beginning of your writing journey, so it’s highly likely that you already write quite frequently and promote your work in several different ways.
But just because you write 2–3 pieces per week and post the links to your social media pages, it doesn’t necessarily mean your writing will automatically be successful. Far from it, in fact.
