Getting back on track after a period of procrastination

It seems that I have been writing a lot of pieces lately about getting back on track and working towards your goals.

And while I do write these pieces with the hope to inspire others, they’ve been mostly written as motivation for myself. For I have been guilty of giving in to the temptation of procrastination quite often as of late.

I go a few days being productive. Motivated and focused. But then I slip up and there are long periods of nothingness. Laziness. Procrastination.

But that’s all about to change.

Yes, I’ve said this on numerous occasions over the past few weeks but admittedly, I haven’t tried that hard to actually make it happen.

Whether it was working towards my writing goals or fitness aspirations.

When the temptation to slack off arose, I took it. Choosing the feet up, watching Netflix, eating junk food and drinking bourbon option instead of getting after it.

Though I have to admit, it was fun.

But it’s not a great way to live your life. So, it’s time to get back on track.
