Don’t Be Afraid to Slam Your Diary Shut for the Remainder of the Year
So, we have finally arrived, December 2019. Where has the time gone? Is it just me or have the past twelve months just flew by? It seems like only yesterday that I was plotting out my goals for the year ahead with high hopes and expectations.
Whether you managed to achieve all that you had set out to or not it doesn’t really matter now, the year is all but over.
“But there are still four weeks left.” I hear you say.
And you’d be right, but, as is the case in pretty much every country I’ve ever lived and worked in, the month of December is more or less a write-off — no pun intended.
Am I right?
A common occurrence across the board.
Now, I realize that the above statement is job-specific and there are many, many people who work their asses off in the month of December, respect to you if you are one of them.
But all I can do is speak from my own experiences.
For me, it’s pretty much a common occurrence across the board that as soon as December hits we are all on the wind-down to the holidays.
