If you ain't depending on the Medium payout each month - and God help anyone who is - then it's best to just keep writing, ignore the stat's for awhile and just ride it out.

Obviously they must be doing some work on the platform in the background that's screwing things up but everything will be fine soon enough.

I've been using Medium since 2018, this shit happens every now and then.
