Good on ya for getting after it and doing what you can to improve your overall well-being.
I couldn't agree more with you on your views about the scales.
I think that's the cause of many people giving up on their fitness goals - they put in so much good work throughout the week but just because the number on the scales don't show what they had hoped they become disheartened.
Anything worthwhile takes time.
Showing up everyday (or every few days - whatever works best for you) and staying consistent is the key to achieving your goals.
Removing anything negative is a great idea as well as just enjoying the process of working towards a goal.
I've been doing something similar over the past few weeks by running as often as possible.
Again, it takes time to see results but they are coming, slowly but surely.
Good luck on your journey and keep putting in the work. 😊
