Good. Use it as fuel for next month.
The Medium Partner Program numbers for the month came out a few hours ago — at the time of writing — and it would be fair to say it’s been a slow month.
At least for me, it has.
Crank it up a notch. It’s safe to say that for most of us we would love to be seeing larger numbers at the end of each month.
Much larger numbers.
Performance inconsistencies. Last month I received threes times the amount of this month. Writing can become quite frustrating at times.
But, there is no point crying about it. Sitting around asking the question ‘why’ or ‘how’ isn’t going to change the fact that this has been a slow month.
You got to keep on moving forward.
This is not a complaint
Poor me, poor me. From the outset, this may seem like another article about how ‘bad’ we all have it and how we should be earning more for our work.
Well, it’s not.
If anything we are lucky to have a platform such as Medium to parade our creations on.
Enjoy the rough. In fact, I’m quite welcoming of this dip in figures. It serves as a reminder that you get out what you put in.
