Haha I like how you think.

When I first started out on Medium I would be constantly checking the stats of the pieces I published, I’d be disappointed if they didn’t get the attention I thought they deserved and of course with every piece I longed for curation.

A year on, none of these things are of my concern.

I just write how I feel at the time.

If i want to spend time and polish a piece, make it look, feel and sound as best I can then I will.

If i feel like just writing, letting my mind pour on to the screen regardless if it sounds professional or attractive to readers, then I’ll do that.

Write for yourself first and everyone else second is my thinking.
