Hey Alan, I'm not naive, I was giving them the benefit of the doubt - a lenient benefit, but one nonetheless.

I did read the piece when Tom said he had no desire to read other articles etc. then goes on to promote his courses in other articles. As you say, they marketers.

I'm sure there are some good guys out there who actually enjoy interacting with their fans and perhaps one day I'll come across one of them.

Until then maybe it's time I rethink which writers I choose to read from now on 🤔.
