How to Make Progress, Even on Your Day Off
Just because you’re resting doesn’t mean you can’t be progressing.
We all need time to rest, recuperate and recharge.
Though, in today's society, it seems that the cool thing to be doing is constantly working hard, getting after it and to take a break is actually a sign of laziness, perhaps even weakness.
And while that kind of work rate may work for some of the top one-percenters of the world, for us ‘normal’ people, working like that only results in burnout.
It’s time to become smart in your approach to success and listen to your body.
If you need to take a day off to regroup and reset then that’s fine.
But just because you’re taking your foot off the gas pedal for a minute that doesn’t mean that the momentum you’ve built up is going to take a hit.
Moving forward while taking a break.
Those of you who work out regularly will be well aware of the importance of rest.
Because it’s during these rest periods that your body takes the time to recover, repair and grow stronger, ready for your next session.
