How to write a viral blog post? That’s the million-dollar question.
I’ve never written a viral blog post. At least nothing as impressive as I’ve seen other writers talk about online.
Bloggers sharing their stats; views, clicks, reads, shares, highlights, likes, claps, comments. Numbers that sore into the thousands. It blows my mind. How do they do it?
My highest ranking blog post in terms of views, reads and article engagement was this piece —I Stopped Drinking Then This Happened — which I published on Medium in January 2019 and it got 3.8K views.

How I got so many views on my article? I really don’t know. Mostly luck I presume. I never set out to create a viral blog post nor did I try any of the fancy tricks and tips widely shared by those bloggers in the know.
