I agree that the wording of the new terms and conditions does seem ‘scary’ and quite ‘aggressive’ towards writers but as you mentioned, there is a lot of writing on here that is average at best so I think probably, for the most part, there won’t be any major noticeable changes.

And if they do decide to use a piece and are going to give credit to the original writer then I suppose that’s alright — it may become a problem for the top writers, the ones who make thousands each month, but as mentioned they will probably strike up some sort of deal with Medium.

I haven’t been on the platform much over the past few weeks so can’t say I’ve noticed any glitches as such, though in the past when they have been working on something new there have been minor issues, so no doubt there will be some changes to come in the near future as you said.

All we can do is sit back and wait to see what happens before deciding on whether or not to continue using the platform.
