I believe a lot of kids are wrapped in cotton wool these days. I love that my son is an adventurer and loves to explore his surroundings. It was exactly how I grew up, not sitting online developing anxiety, but out exploring the world through play.

Obviously we keep an eye on him and keep him from real danger but you can’t always be there for your kids and they have to learn to pick themselves up after they fall, literally and figuratively speaking.
