I didn't even get involved with the challenge or read any of the entries or winners work to be honest. From past writing challenges I've viewed and been involved in - outside of Medium - it always seems to be mediocre writing that takes the prize.

Not saying that I'm an amazing writer or anything like that, but some of the pieces I've seen win competitions in the past have been hard to read and I mean that literally.

Maybe if there's another Medium challenge I'll give it a go and try my luck 🤔.
