The Unmotivated, Unjoyful Writer
I feel I’ve become one of the unmotivated writers alluded to in your article.
For the past year or so my writing joy has been mediocre. I've had ups and plenty if downs. The joy I once had in the beginning is simmering instead of bubbling and I feel it's all down to chasing the wrong things.
I want the high reader numbers. I want the thousands of followers. I want the big bucks. But in focusing on those few measures it's taken away my focus on the things that matter and that could actually get me to where I want to be.
Hopefully, after a little boost of energy from your article, this is the turning point for me and the beginning of a new chapter where I get myself back on track.
