I find myself drift into a meditative state while working out, usually by lifting heavy weights at the gym.

After pushing myself hard during a set, I tend to ‘disappear’ into my own little world whilst on recovery between sets.

Even though the gym is busy with people I hear nothing and I’m lost in my thoughts.

And after the workout I always leave the gym feeling calm, relaxed and with a feeling of inner peace.
