I never watched the video but from the images shown of the couple my initial thoughts are that they are so confident in themselves and their relationship that the negativity received does little to annoy them.

Some people seem way to concerned over the lifestyle choices of others. Perhaps if they spent more time focused on their own lives and what makes them happy then they wouldn't feel the need to try and belittle others.
