I recently wrote a piece saying the same thing, I don't write for the reader I write for myself - though you put your point across much more eloquently 🤣.

I know that by tweaking your work and twisting it to suit certain audiences that it might perform better but I just dont care that much. I enjoy the process of writing. Putting my ideas together, rearranging them to make some sort of sense then sending them off into the world.

Maybe one day I'll try harder at the marketing side if things but for now I just wanna write.
