I use controlled breathing a lot when exercising to slow my heart rate down for recovery - usually after a hard run or after a high intensity workout in boxing.

I also try to take note of my breathing outside of exercise, like when I'm at work or at home watching TV, and try to correct it if I find I've been mouth breathing for a long period of time, though I could do better on this front.

Thanks for sharing this piece and reminding me to be more proactive when it comes to breathing correctly. It certainly makes me feel better when I do it, so it's definitely something worth paying more attention to 😁.
