I’m Thinking of a Way to Build a Solid Writing Habit, One That Motivates Me to Write Every Day
Let’s face it, good writing habits are hard to keep. There are periods when you just can’t get enough of writing, you want to write day and night, your mind is full of ideas and you’re coming up with new ones quicker than you can jot them down.
And then there’s the flip side. When even writing a single paragraph is as painful as squirting lemon juice in your eyes and it feels as though your brain has gone on vacation and left no one else in charge of that big ole empty head of yours.
Beautiful highs and soul-destroying lows. That just about sums up my writing habits. There just never seems to be a happy medium — no pun intended.
Well, I’ve decided to go in search of one. A place where your motivation to write stays consistent, day in and day out. Where you never have to worry about staying motivated because you will always have an idea or two to tide you over for the day.
Does such a place exist? Maybe.
But only time will tell.
