It can be intimidating walking into a gym when you’ve never been to one before and don’t have a clue what you’re doing. Though in my experience, and especially at the beginning of my fitness journey, I’ve found that people are more than willing to give you pointers, advice and to help you out.

Many people also feel nervous/awkward when working out becasue they feel others are lookng at them and judging them when in actual fact most people are looking at themselves and checking out their own progress, hence the need for so many huge mirrors.

Anyone who steps foot in the gym or decides to make a change for the better in any area of their life should be commended, it takes courage to break free from ‘normal’ routines and chase your goals.

Thanks for taking the time to read and respond Richard, much appreciated!
