I've been doing the 5am thing for a few weeks now so I can get a gym session done before work.
However, I only do the 5am early morning maybe once or twice per week. I tried it for the full week and by the afternoon most days I was nearly asleep at my desk.
The slow and steady approach works. Going from 0 - 100 in one great leap does not. Which is why I plan on following the advice mentioned by doing what works for me while trying to get better slowly, one step at a time.
