I’ve only had a quick skim through the new changes, mainly at the revamped stats page searching for possible ways to keep some sort of tabs on how a piece may be performing.

Much how you used the fans in the past.

My attention has been drawn to the ‘Member reading time’ stats — which can be found on the stats page, click view details on your piece and scroll to the bottom.

My inital thoughts are to keep an eye on the reading time and see how that affects the earngins for each piece.

Of course, this is just an experiment for now and we won’t truly know how things kinda work until we have had a few weeks to monitor the new changes.

I’d suggest not over thinking things at the moment.

There are likly to be additional changes to come as the new system comes into play and some of the unforseen ‘bugs’ get ironed out by Medium.

It’s times like this when you have to just go-with-the-flow.
