I've only recently returned to Medium and writing after a break off so having low stat numbers was to be expected on my part. But I have seen others talk about a drop in their numbers.

Perhaps Medium is undergoing some work at their HQ which is affecting how the algorithm shares and promotes peoples writing?

The truth is though, no one ever truly knows what is going on behind the scenes. In my experience, it's best just to ride it out and eventually the good times will come rolling back in soon.
