Jeff Bezos ‘Threatens’ Leonardo DiCaprio
The internet can be a minefield of accusations, personal attacks, fake news and out of context reports which makes it all the more dangerous for celebrities as they try to navigate their ‘out of the ordinary’ lives.
Picture the scene;
You’ve had a very busy day of drinking fine wines, purchasing exotic animals and doing whatever the fuck it is you do as a high-profile celebrity figure, so you decide to unwind and blow off some steam by attending LACMA Art + Film Gala, as you do.
You arrive in style — probably in a private jet or on the back of your newly purchased, well-trained African elephant — dressed in your favourite overpriced tuxedo, looking dapper, and ready to get the party started.
The good times are flowing and the craic is 90. You’re shaking hands with other famous faces, slapping high-fives and schmoozing with none other than the second richest man in the world, Mr Bezos, and his partner Lauren Sanchez.
That’s when it happens. Boom!
All of a sudden, your Twitter feed blows up like a Taliban birthday cake and within an eighth of a second, you’ve been labelled as ‘Mr. Steal Yo Girl’.
