Another weekend has ended — this year is really flying by, isn’t it? — and for many that means only one thing. Back to work on Monday.

There has always been a negativity surrounding a Monday that has been ingrained in most people’s subconscious from as far back as childhood.

Most likely picked up from their parents who picked it up from their parents and so on.

Listening to your parents complain about how ‘bad’ Mondays are.

Or

On a Sunday evening listening to them moan about having to go back to work the next day.

At such a young, impressionable age is it any wonder that some of the stigmas have rubbed off and stuck throughout the years?

The thing is, Mondays are no different from any other day of the week — well any workday at least.

In fact, with a slight shift in your mindset, a Monday could turn out to be one of your favourite days of the week — with a little practice of course.

And this is something that I have been working on over the past few weeks.

I am no different from you. I still wake up on a Monday morning with the feelings of, ugh, wishing that…
