Laughter Is the Best Medicine

When you find it hard to get motivated just laugh it off.

Today has been a struggle for me to get going.

From the moment I opened my eyes, I knew that getting things done was going to be somewhat of a challenge.

Even after a solid seven-hour sleep I still woke up tired, perhaps a result of a few big workouts over the weekend, who knows?

I could have easily rolled back over and slept for another few hours, but I didn’t and instead forced myself out of bed, into the shower and got ready for work.

Now, most people would call this the ‘Monday Blues’, the lacklustre feelings apparently brought on by Monday after a good weekend.

But, feelings come from within, so I’m unsure if a particular day has the power to alter your mood.

I believe it’s more to do with your mindset and that we each have the power to alter our feelings simply by changing our thought patterns.

So, based on that principle, when I experience days such as this my first reaction is to fire up some motivational shit and get that mindset back on track.

And that’s exactly what I did.

When the motivational stuff doesn’t work.
