For many, the responsibilities of life have resulted in having to spend eight hours or more per day in a little thing called a job.

Yes, you’ve had to bite the bullet and become yet another participant in the less than exciting ‘rat race’.

If you're fortunate you will land yourself in a profession that you enjoy, or at least can tolerate, one that pays well enough for you and your family to live a reasonably comfortable life.

But even for those lucky few who love their job, there are still days when you’d much rather be doing something else.

You know the ones, when you wake up, motivation levels are not quite hitting 100% for whatever reason and you’re just not in the mood.

Then, of course, there are those perfect summer days. When the sun is splitting the stones — an Irish phrase, click herethe skies are blue, the clouds are few and the birds are singing from the treetops.

Nobody wants to be stuck at their job on a day like that. Much rather be out enjoying yourself, soaking up some of that vitamin D.

But, needs must as they say and you’ve got no choice but to stick it out at work, well, for a few hours at least, until you can find a way to escape…
