It’s the beginning of April which means I’ve been back writing and engaging on Medium now for just over a month and I have to say, it’s been great!
I didn’t quite know what to expect when I decided to make a return to Medium and I had a few questions rolling around in my mind as I made the commitment.
- I wonder if Medium has changed much since the last time I was properly active.
- I wonder if I’ll be able to pick up where I left off and continue growing my profile or will it be like starting from scratch again?
- I wonder if I still remember how to write an article good enough to attract and entertain the readers.
Luckily, as the weeks of March played out I was able to find my answers.
Remaining Consistent
Six months had passed since my last post on Medium before I decided to make my return but really it was well over a year since I was last properly active on the platform.
During that time I rarely visited the site and any time I did post something I didn’t bother to track the progress or promote the piece as much as I should have.
It was left there in the Medium wilderness to fend for itself.
