Now that you mention it, there does seem to be a lot of fragile egos when it comes to the writing world.

Whenever I post something I have confidence in what I've written and am always prepared to argue my point - or at least reconsider my thinking - should there be any disagreement for example. Perhaps this is a trait not shared by all writers? Though I know you certainly have confidence in your writing, no questions about that 🤣.
