On the Road to Your Success, There Must Be No Excuses!
If you wish to achieve your goals then you’ve got to put in the work, regardless of how you are feeling at the time.
Today has been a fantastic day.
I woke up early, hit the gym — which was basically empty, another bonus — came home, had breakfast with my two-year-old son — his mother/my partner was there too, in case you think I left him home alone and went for a workout — then we all got ready and had a fun day out.
(By the way, bear with me through this, all will become clear at the end)
The weather was magnificent, the sun was out, there was barely a cloud in the sky and we all headed off on a road trip to a nearby reptile park — nearby in New Zealand being 90mins or so.
We had a wonderful time checking out all that the park had to offer, and it was great to see the excitement on my sons face as he discovered some new and interesting animals which he had never seen before.
After the reptile park, and as we made our way home at a leisurely pace, we decided to stop off at a local pub/restaurant for a bite to eat and a refreshing beverage, which was much needed and well deserved after enduring the heat of the New Zealand sun for a few hours.
