Parenting and adulting in general has the power to eradicate your former identity. Finding time to just be you can be almost damn near impossible at times and it can wreak havoc on your mental stability.
Much like you, I love my alone times. I sit up an hour or two after everyone has gone to bed so I can have peace and quiet and time to myself. I also love my gym time where I can switch off, so to speak, from life responsibilities and just be in the moment.
Finding time on your own to be with your thoughts is essential, especially when life becomes jam packed with family and adulting responsibilities. So never feel selfish or upset for wanting daily me time to regroup 😁.
