People revert to taking matters into their own hands and extreme violence when they feel they have no other option.

Unfortunately, the justice system doesn't work and the law does little to deter such horrible and horrific attacks such as stabbings and attacks on the innocent from happening.

So when communities are attacked again and again and they see no justice they become angry and frustrated resulting in a kick back, and when they see violence gets them noticed and heard that's what they turn to.

It's been the same way for years in many countries. Those who aren't afraid to go to extreme measures get heard.
