Personally, I don't give a shit about the algorithms or how many views I get. Of course, I'd love to be hitting the same numbers as those averages listed above, but for the most part, I just write a piece, publish it then move on to my next piece.

After I hit the publish button there ain't much I can do about how it performs, so I don't allow it to take up too much of my thinking.

Yeah, I could probably do better if I took more of an interest and tried harder, but in all honesty, I just enjoy writing.
