Personally, if I take the time to read a piece the ill give it a clap.

I may not have agreed with the message or been a big fan of the writing style or whatever but i’ll still give it something.

At the end of the day, I’ve gained something from it.

Whether it be an emotion evoked from reading the piece which got me thinking or perhaps a little tip or trick the writer used in formatting which perhaps liked and will try in my next piece, there is always something to be gained so it feels only right to give back.
