Raising a toddler certainly has its moments.

My son is two and a half and he keeps us on our toes.

It’s funny to watch as they develop their own little character but at the same time it’s frustrating trying to get them to behave at times.

I try and take the approach you mentioned of keeping calm and talking gently he is in the midst of a meltdown.

Leaving him to it until he cools down is usually the best option, as you also do with your boy.

As challenging as it is, I wouldn’t change it for the world.
