Ranking the DCEU films from worst to best

Ranking All the DCEU Films I’ve Seen From Worst To Best

The DCEU has been very hit or miss over the years with many lows but also many highs and today I’ll be ranking them from worst to best.

#8 Suicide squad

Rotten Tomatoes: Critics 26% Audience 59%

Personal score: 4/10

2016’s suicide squad originally seemed like a great idea mainly from the film’s amazing trailer people were excited about this film. Sadly when the film came out it was met with thousands of negative reviews and sadly while the film was exciting to watch the rest of the movie was abysmal with some of the characters having little to no development, feeling very messy at times, a bland villain, and one of the worst jokers we’ve seen. This is why the suicide squad so far earns the worst spot in the DCEU let’s just hope the sequel can do it better.

#7 Batman vs superman dawn of justice

Rotten Tomatoes: Critics 29% Audience 63%

Personal score: 5/10

2016’s dawn of justice sadly fell into the same problem as suicide squad a good trailer but not so good film. Dawn of justice had its fun moments, characters that I liked, and good acting performances. Sadly the film felt extremely boring at times and even some of the dumbest things I’ve seen in a film such as some of the moments in the battle between batman and superman where their mothers having the same name suddenly matters.

#6 Justice League 2017

Rotten Tomatoes: Critics 40% Audience 71%

Personal score: 6/10

2017’s justice league was finally a huge step for the DCEU and that the 6 members of the justice league would finally be working together in one film sadly when the film came out it was met with thousands of disappointed fans who felt that the film had things such as a boring villain, bad humor, and not so great connections between the characters. The film did offer up many fun fight scenes yet the film still felt failed when you compare it to other films like avengers.

#5 Birds of Prey

Rotten Tomatoes: Critics 79% Audience 78%

Personal score: 6/10

2020’s Birds of prey is an extremely exciting movie to watch from start to finish with fun characters, battles, and amazing performances from each actor. Sadly the rest of the film fails such as the character of Cassandra Cane who had a bland reimagine, and just an alright plot. Which leaves birds of prey to still be on of the better DCEU films with many problems.

#4 Man of steel

Rotten Tomatoes: Critics 56% Audience 75%

Personal score: 8/10

2013’s man of steel was the first film to be released in the DCEU and thankfully the movie wasn’t bad at all with great performances from the actors, good visuals, good costume design, good set designs, and a plot I personally found myself liking. The problem I did find with man of steel was that it did feel boring at times with problems here and there throughout the film but all around man of steel felt like a pretty good start for the DCEU.

#3 Aquaman

Rotten Tomatoes: Critics 65% Audience 74%

Personal score: 8/10

2018’s Aquaman was very anticipated by fans and thankfully when the film did come out people did seem to enjoy the film with an amazing performance from Jason Momoa as Aquaman, the film’s great set designs, fight scenes, a villain I did enjoy, and more. The problem with the film was at times I did feel that some parts just felt rushed and very out of nowhere.

#2 Zack Snyders Justice League

Rotten Tomatoes: Critics 71% Audience 94%

Personal score 9/10

2021’s Snyder cut was the original film from Zack Snyder of the justice league and when the film was released on HBO Max it was met with way more positive reviews than the original 2017 version. Pros were that the film explained stuff more, improved the villain, amazing new scenes, and more. The con I did find with this film was mainly some of the stuff from the original 2017 version.

#1 Wonder Woman

Rotten Tomatoes: Critics 93% Audience 83%

Personal score: 10/10

2017’s wonder woman is easily in my opinion the best DCEU film so far the film gave amazing performances, amazing costume and set designs, amazing fight scenes, a good plot, good characters, and writing I honestly never saw a problem with 2017’s wonder woman while watching and I do feel that this film is 100% worth watching.
