Readjust Your Mindset With This Simple Morning Routine
Having a positive and productive mindset begins the moment you open your eyes in the morning.
So, last week was pretty much a write off for me — no pun intended — in terms of keeping on track towards achieving my goals.
Here in Auckland, New Zealand, the year starts off with a number of public holidays, all in quick succession.
We have Auckland Anniversary, which was celebrated on January 27th this year, a Monday, giving us a long weekend.
And then there’s Waitangi Day, celebrated on February 6th, which fell on a Thursday this year prompting many people to take the Friday off of work and enjoy a four day weekend, myself included.
Now, upon hearing that your initial thoughts may have been, “Well that’s great, so much more free time to get after it and move ever closer to achieving your goals, right?”
And you’d be 100% correct in your thinking; I too had the exact same thoughts and intentions on the lead up to these few days off.
But then the time came to actually put in the work and, well, things didn’t quite go to plan.
