Say What You Mean: Sometimes It’s Best to Just Cut to the Chase When You Write
You don’t always have to fancy or clever to get your point across.
Today has been a nightmare for me and my writing.
I’ve written three articles previous to this — well, three half articles — and not one of them seems to work.
Somehow or another I keep veering off track.
Maybe you’ve experienced this also?
You start a piece with a clear topic in mind and an idea of which direction you’d like to run with it.
You’ve got a few points in your mind which you wish to expand upon and a conclusion to finish it all off, the icing on the cake if you will.
Everything is set and you’re ready to go.
So, you get to typing.
Tap, tap, tapping away on the keys, word after word, paragraph after paragraph.
Today feels like a good day, the sentences are flowing, you’re in the zone.
Tap, tap, tap. You’re flying. This could be your fastest ever written piece to date.
You may even be able to write two articles today at the rate that you're going.
