As I’m sure you’re well aware of by now, Medium is one of — if not thee— friendliest, most supportive platforms around today.
I’ve been using the platform for close to a year now and I’m yet to see any real negativity towards or from anyone.
Yea, I’ve seen people voice their opinions when, perhaps, they haven’t totally agreed with something they’ve read and from that, a healthy, non-aggressive, debate has arisen.
But no one got verbally attacked, abused or threatened — which is a common occurrence and happens almost daily on a lot of other platforms.
Yes, Medium to me is how an online platform should be.
With so much positivity and support ‘flying around’ it’s almost impossible not to get involved and share in the good vibes.
So, it came as no surprise to me at all that the first two pieces I read this morning had me smiling from ear to ear — not a bad way to start the day.
They weren’t humorous pieces and they weren’t discussing anything mind-blowing or ground-breaking.
No, they were just two ‘regular’ pieces from guys sharing their story on Medium as many of us do.
