When I first started writing I had three concerns;

  • What if no one reads my work?
  • What if people do read it, berate me and laugh in my face because it is so terrible?
  • What if I run out of writing ideas, fall into a deep, unshakeable pit of writer’s block despair and never return to the keyboard again?

Thankfully, I never allowed any of these worries to stop me from trying and I’m happy to say, for the most part, none of said concerns came to fruition.

Through writing on Medium, there has always been an audience of readers. Those that have read my work seem to have enjoyed it — or at least have not hated it enough to attack me. And when it comes to gathering new writing ideas, well, I find the below method the easiest, most efficient way to do so.
