The older I get the less I care about trying to impress other people and instead I find myself focused on my goals and becoming the best version of myself.

Yea, it’s nice to have someone tell you how proud they are of you etc. but if you’re doing something just to impress other people then it’s probably a huge waste of time.

Think of yourself and your happiness first. That’s what’s most important.
