Treat Sunday as Your Pregame Pep Talk

Using Sunday as a day to prepare for the week ahead.

Sundays; as a kid, I used to hate them.

Back then all they were to me was a signal that the weekend had ended and school was only a matter of hours away — I wasn’t a huge fan of Mondays either.

However, times have changed.

Nowadays, as a mature, forward-thinking adult (said in jest), Sundays are more of an enjoyable experience — and I’ve actually come to tolerate Mondays a little more as well.

I like to spend my Sundays taking it easy. Maybe go on a family walk. Play some video games. Or have a nice meal and a drink while kicking back and relaxing at home.

No hassles. No dramas. No worries. The easy life.

To me, Sundays are a time to reflect. To think about the ups and the downs of the week gone by. To meditate over what could’ve been done better and to celebrate the things that went well.

It’s also a time to prepare for the week ahead. A kinda pregame pep talk before stepping out on to the field.

In my mind, I map out a blueprint for the week. The things I wish to achieve. Taking into account all areas of my life; health, fitness, family and goals.
