True you need the readers to make a few dollars here on Medium but hitting a follow button on someone’s profile dosn’t guarantee they are going to read your work.

You have 180 followers at the minute, do you get 180 reads on each of your pieces? I certainly don’t get the response I’d like from all my followers lol.

What I mean by interacting with other members is things like reading, clapping and leaving comments of other peoples work, replying to comments left on your work. Getting involved in conversations on the various different Facebook groups etc.

Basically getting your name recognized so that when someone sees a piece by you as they scroll through theor feed they are more likley to click on and read it.

When people see that you’re an active member and aren’t only focused on yourself it makes them want to support you more and help you grow.
