When Does Planning Become Procrastination? Here’s How to Tell.

You might have heard the saying “Failing to prepare, is like preparing to fail” but at what point does planning and preparation become procrastination?
For the past few weeks, I’ve been setting myself writing goals and planning out how I should get started towards achieving them.
I’ve been fixing up various social media profiles, researching writing tools I could use, and developing a plan of attack — a blueprint on how I would like to see my success playing out.
However, I recently had an epiphany.
It occurred to me that while all the planning and preparation was good and had me thinking positively about bettering myself, no real progress was being made.
Basically, I was procrastinating and disguising it as working towards my goal.
How to Tell When Planning is Procrastination
Setting new goals and dreaming about how great your life will become is exciting, but it’s also very easy to get caught up in the thrill of it all.
